Agilitas further strengthens its team with six new appointments

Agilitas Private Equity (“Agilitas”), the pan-European mid-market private equity firm, is pleased to announce that it has strengthened its team with six new appointments. The new joiners include four investment professionals who will help to further bolster the investment capabilities of Agilitas’s team, and two finance specialists.

Joining Agilitas’s investment team are Alex Brebbia, Hamza Ben Abderahmen, Marcus Risland and Matteo Recchia, all senior professionals with significant experience in mid-market private equity across a variety of sectors.

Alex Brebbia joins as a senior member of the team with more than 25 years as a mid-market private equity investor. Prior to Agilitas, Alex was head of a pan-European private equity and development capital fund. Hamza Ben Abderahmen started his career at JP Morgan before focusing on growth and impact private equity in EMEA. Hamza has been focusing on impact investment for ten years and brings significant expertise in that space. Marcus Risland began his career at Morgan Stanley in New York before moving to private equity. He subsequently moved to Sweden and brings a strong experience of investing in the Nordics. Matteo started his career in Milan with Wepartners SpA before coming to London in private equity and subsequently becoming the CFO of one of the investments he backed. Matteo has substantial experience partnering with management teams to deliver growth and execute transformational programmes.

Mia Sendlbeck and Sam Berry have joined Agilitas’s finance team, reflecting the firm’s continued growth. Mia joins as a finance director and brings more than a decade’s experience working in the finance function at investment firms. Sam joins as a finance manager from the accounting firm, PWC.
