Agilitas adds two to Transformation team

Agilitas, the pan-European mid-market private equity firm, is pleased to announce two appointments to further strengthen the transformation capabilities of its team.

Anne-Marie Laing joins Agilitas as a Transformation Consultant and will focus on strengthening and implementing Agilitas’ operational transformation best practices in portfolio companies. She has worked both directly with and as a part of management teams for over 20 years, helping them to improve their operational performance, most recently as a Managing Director at Alix Partners. Prior to Alix Partners she held long term roles with Zolfo Cooper and Arthur Andersen. She has led a number of transformational projects across multiple sectors, predominately in Europe. She is a fellow of the ICAEW.

Saad Akram joins Agilitas as a Transformation Consultant after a wide-ranging background in leading investment banks, including Barclays Capital, BAML and HSBC, and will focus on sourcing and executing acquisition and financing opportunities within portfolio companies. Most recently Saad has been involved in consultancy projects working alongside various private equity firms. He holds an MSc in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Saad speaks both Danish and English.
